Hugh Freeze and the Auburn Tigers add 2025 defensive tackle recruit

With Kalen Edwards having committed to the Auburn Tigers, that’s a total of seven verbal pledges for the 2025 recruiting class! That’s been a fantastic accomplishment, especially considering the type of talent that has kept on making Auburn their future home.

At a listed 6-foot-4 and 325 pounds, Edwards is a player that can clog the middle of the line. SEC titles have traditionally been won along the line of scrimmage. that’s just the beginning of the good news that's been witnessed. As athletic as this massive young man has shown to be, Edwards could also one day produce as an interior pass rusher as well.

Among the programs that already offered him a scholarship prior to Edwards pledging to Hugh Freeze and the Tigers, some of them were Tennessee, Georgia, Miami, Missouri, Mississippi State, and Louisville.
