Payton Thorne Named Starting QB at Auburn | Village Vice Ep. 3
Zac Blackerby and Brad Law react to the news of the week: Payton Thorne is getting the nod as QB1 at Auburn, beating out Robby Ashford and Holden Geriner for the job.
Head Coach Hugh Freeze confirmed the decision on Thursday that Thorne will get the start against UMass stating, "The reason that Payton is getting the nod is the leadership ability and the understanding of the offense. He's been in some really good battles. He's been more efficient in the decision-making to this point."
The guys also discuss the Tigers' wide receiver rotation as those pass targets remain an offensive priority for Thorne under center.
