Former Auburn Tiger Derick Hall hosted a Thanksgiving Food Drive
Derick Hall recently moved on from his time at Auburn as he was a second-round draft pick of the Seattle Seahawks.
All Auburn fans know how great of a football player Hall is, but what makes him so loved by the Auburn family more than his play on the field is how great of a person he is off the field.
Thanksgiving is right around the corner, so Hall decided to host a food drive in his hometown of Gulfport, Mississippi.
Hall has a foundation called the 1% Foundation, which received its name from Hall's childhood story, where he was born premature and was given a 1% chance to live.
Hall, of course, beat the odds and is now living his NFL dream.
The hope for Hall's food drive was to feed over 350 families, and it was a resounding success.
Hall partnered with Extend a Hand Help a Friend and Mississippi Power to put on a food drive for the people of Gulfport, Mississippi.
It's incredible to see that the first thing Hall did when he got into the NFL was find a way to help others.
Every day he walks this earth, Derick Hall is a true example of what it means to be an Auburn Tiger.
