We got to see Auburn for the first time since their first scrimmage of fall camp last Saturday.

The Tigers had some interesting things happen with the quarterback competition on Saturday, with Hugh Freeze leaving the scrimmage telling the media that he was going to have to reevaluate the quarterback competition.

Here's what we saw out of the quarterbacks and the offense on Tuesday.

Literally.

There was a separation between quarterbacks on Tuesday afternoon, with Holden Geriner working exclusively on one side of the field with the third-team offense, while Robby Ashford and Payton Thorne worked with a rotation of the first and second-team offenses on the other side of the field. Both offenses worked against the defensive line, never actually allowing any quarterback to throw the ball.

Ashford went first against the d-line.

Auburn's usage of tight ends

The Tigers used multiple tight ends in various formations against air - all on first, second and third-team.

Rivaldo Fairweather and Tyler Fromm were lined up as a big slot for the majority of the time they were on the field. Luke Deal and Brandon Frazier were attached to the line with different groupings.

There was one play with the first-team offense where Luke Deal was beside left tackle Dillon Wade, and Fairweather was in the slot to his left. Fairweather was then set in motion to the right side, and Auburn ran quarterback draw with Thorne.

Jeremiah Wright is starting again

Wright has run with the first-team offensive line at left guard over Tate Johnson for a couple of practices now. He hardly practiced throughout the spring due to injury, and was slotted behind Johnson at the beginning of fall camp.
