Auburn went on the road to take on the LSU Tigers and got blown out 48-18.

In a game many thought Auburn would compete, they did not, and there are still many question marks surrounding this offense.

The schedule doesn't lighten up as next week Auburn will host Ole Miss in a game that will have many narratives.

Let's take a look at five guys who played well against LSU.

Jeremiah Cobb

The freshman tailback had a good showing as Jeremiah Cobb had ten carries for 69 yards. This gave Cobb a whopping 6.9 yards per carry against the LSU Tigers. One thing Auburn fans can know after watching this ball game is that Cobb will be a really good running back for the Auburn Tigers for many years to come.

Brandon Frazier

Heading into the game against LSU, Auburn tight end Brandon Frazier had yet to catch a pass this season. That changed as he reeled in three passes for 52 yards and a touchdown. He led the Tigers in receiving yards. It was cool to see a guy known for his blocking help in the passing game.

Robby Ashford

Robby Ashford's usage in this game was strange, as many Auburn fans would agree, but his numbers were solid. Ashford had a team-best 91.9 PFF grade. He threw the football four times, completing three of the passes for 52 yards and a touchdown. Ashford also ran the ball five times for 19 yards. His usage going forward will be very interesting, and it seems like he needs to be on the field.

Justin Rogers

The Kentucky transfer has played a role for the Tigers, and Justin Rogers had a good showing against LSU. He had three tackles in this game and was Auburn's highest-graded defensive player on PFF with a 71.7. Rogers will be around for a while and has a good Auburn career ahead of him. A strong end to this season will have Rogers primed for a big 2024.

DJ James

DJ James continues to do what he always does, which is grade out well on PFF and intercept passes. James had Auburn's second-best defensive PFF grade with a 71.2 behind only Rogers. He picked off Jayden Daniels in this game, which was his second of this season. James will be a really good NFL player after this season is over.
