Auburn Briefing: Tigers regress from 3-point range

Auburn was unable to follow up its best showing of the year from deep with another high-level performance.

After shooting nearly 50 percent from 3-point range in its blowout win over Indiana, Auburn went 7-21 or 33.3 percent from beyond the arch against UNC Asheville.

Chad Baker-Mazara led the way for the Tigers, going 3-3 from deep. From a team perspective, however, the 3-pointers were not falling.

Auburn will take on the USC Trojans at home inside Neville Arena on Sunday at 12 p.m. CT. ESPN will carry the broadcast.

Auburn women's basketball update

Auburn picked up a dominant 94-37 win over the Alabama State Hornets at home inside Neville Arena last night. The Tigers will be back in action at home on Saturday when it takes on the Norfolk State Spartans. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m. CT and the broadcast can be found on SEC Network+.
