The Auburn faithful discuss Tigers recruiting

The Auburn Tigers coaching staff continues to learn the 2023 roster, practice by practice and game by game. It’s a process. Figuring out what positions the Tigers need to focus their recruiting efforts towards stems from those evaluations.

While the Auburn coaches certainly possess direct insight as to how the roster should look in the future, Tigers fans hold strong opinions as well. There are over 100 responses to the Auburn Daily Facebook page to the following question:

"Auburn fans - WR and QB are obvious areas Auburn is looking to improve via recruiting. What other position do you feel the Tigers need to get a major upgrade?"

From that question, the most common answer is offensive line, and that would surely help future Tigers running back J'Marion Burnette. Not far behind, that would be the defensive line.

All in all, some Auburn fans are continuing to vent their frustrations about the current situation via their posts (you have been warned), while others are more general (and cordial) in their responses.

It’s a process for Hugh Freeze and the Tigers. We shall see if the recruiting results for 2024 and beyond match what the fans desire.
