Ja'Kobe Walter is a five-star shooting guard from McKinney. In two years, he'll be fresh off hearing his name called in the lottery.

More importantly for Baylor fans, though, in one year, he'll be moving into his apartment as the newest Bears basketball team member.

Locked On Baylor was joined by Jason Jordan who raved over the star guard, calling him an alpha in the class of 2023. From his physicality to his experience against the best talent in the nation, he projects to have the same success a young Kendall Brown did at Baylor.

Moreover, Scott Drew has also anchored this class with four-star foreigner Miro Little. Little is currently one of the top-125 players in his class overall, and he's even ranked higher than Jeremy Sochan was when he committed to Baylor.

Jeremy Sochan just got drafted to the Spurs with the ninth pick in the draft.

If Drew and company can flip Little like they did Sochan, Baylor is staring at another duo of young stars to bring to Waco. But it might not end there.

Signing just two players in a class is not all that common, especially not for an elite program like Baylor. With the losses, the team will take over the next two years and seniors leave and players get drafted. This class needs more.

Keep your eyes peeled in the coming months for major moves both in the high school ranks and transfer portal. Baylor is shopping the market.
