No. 21 Baylor Bears at Oklahoma: Preview & How to Watch
The No. 21 Baylor men’s basketball team returns to the hardwood for a road matchup against the Oklahoma Sooners on Saturday, Jan. 21, as the Bears have reeled off three straight wins after starting the season 0-3 in conference play.
Saturday’s Big 12 showdown between the Bears and Sooners is slated to tip off at 3 p.m. Central Time and will be televised on ESPN2.
Baylor (13-5, 3-3 Big 12) is 3-2 over the last five games, dropping a one-point heartbreaker to No. 12 TCU on Jan. 4 and an overtime thriller to No. 13 Kansas State on Jan. 7 before winning three in a row – including victories against West Virginia on Jan. 11, Oklahoma State on Jan. 14 and Texas Tech on Jan. 17.
Oklahoma (11-7, 2-4 Big 12), meanwhile, is 2-3 over the last five games, losing against No. 12 Iowa State on Jan. 4, defeating Texas Tech in overtime on Jan. 7, dropping a four-point loss at No. 2 Kansas on Jan. 10, winning against West Virginia on Jan. 14 and falling 72-56 at Oklahoma State on Jan. 17.
The Bears are currently led in scoring by guard Keyonte George (17.7 points per game), rebounding by forward Jalen Bridges (5.3 per game) and assists by guard Adam Flagler (5.3 per game).
Sooners guard Grant Sherfield leads Oklahoma in scoring (17.5 points per game) and assists (3.5 per game) while forward Tanner Groves leads in rebounding (7.3 per game).
