Baylor Men Move Up to No. 6 in Latest AP Top 25 Poll
The Baylor men’s basketball team remains in the top 10 in the latest Associated Press rankings released on Monday, as the Bears climbed one spot to No. 6.
Baylor (5-1) completed this past week with an 89-60 victory over McNeese State on Wednesday, Nov. 23.
Following a loss to No. 3 Virginia on Friday, Nov. 18 and a win over No. 21 UCLA on Sunday, Nov. 20, the Bears dropped from No. 5 to No. 7 in last week’s poll.
Up next on the slate for Baylor is a marquee matchup with Marquette in the Big 12/Big East Challenge on Tuesday, Nov. 29 and a pivotal battle against No. 14 Gonzaga on Friday, Dec. 2 for the Peacock Classic in Sioux Falls, SD.
The Big 12 Conference now has three teams ranked in the top 10, including No. 2 Texas, No. 6 Baylor and No. 9 Kansas.
