Baylor Bears men’s basketball team slated to host Arkansas Razorbacks in SEC/Big 12 Challenge on Saturday, Jan. 28 on ESPN

The No. 17 Baylor Bears men’s basketball team returns to the hardwood to host the Arkansas Razorbacks on Saturday, Jan. 28 as the Bears have won five straight games after starting the season 0-3 in Big 12 play.

Saturday's SEC/Big 12 Challenge between the Bears and Razorbacks is slated to tip off at 3 p.m. Central Time at the Ferrell Center in Waco, Texas and will be televised on ESPN.

Baylor (15-5, 5-3 Big 12) is 5-0 over the last five games, garnering wins at West Virginia, at home against Oklahoma State and on the road against Texas Tech, at Oklahoma on Jan. 21 and at home against Kansas on Jan. 23.

Arkansas (14-6, 3-5 SEC), meanwhile, is 2-3 over the last five games, with losses against Alabama, Vanderbilt and Missouri prior to winning the last two in a row over Mississippi on Jan. 21 and LSU on Jan. 24.

The Bears are currently led in scoring by guard Keyonte George (16.9 points per game), rebounding by forward Jalen Bridges (5.7 per game) and assists by guard Adam Flagler (5.2 per game).

Razorbacks guard Ricky Council IV leads Arkansas in scoring (16.8 points per game) forward Makhi Mitchell leads in rebounding (5.9 per game) and guard Anthony Black leads in assists (4.0 per game).
