Watch out, college basketball world.

Adam Flagler is back with the Baylor Bears after opting to drop out of the NBA Draft process and returning for another year in Waco.

And based on future projections, it seems Flagler made a very wise decision, for both himself and the team as a whole.

Another year under head coach Scott Drew will only give Flagler a better chance at a higher NBA Draft pick next year. But it also gives the Bears a legitimate chance at winning another national championship.

Coach Drew has always been a mastermind when it comes to recruiting and running a well-oiled basketball program.

With another highly-touted recruiting class — along with a solid group of returning players — entering the start of the 2022-23 season, the Bears seem poised to make another run at an NCAA title.

Flo Thamba, Dale Bonner, LJ Cryer, Jordan Turner, Langston Love, Jonathan Tchamwa Tchatchoua, Zach Loveday and Flagler are all returning.

Cryer and Love should also both be fully healthy this year after dealing with injuries in 2021.

However, the team did lose longtime Bear Matthew Mayer to the transfer portal. The Austin native committed to Illinois on May 27 after four years in Waco, winning a national championship in 2021.

Speaking of transfers, Baylor added the duo of Jalen Bridges (West Virginia) and Caleb Lohner (BYU) to the program for the upcoming season.

And with an impressive recruiting class heading to Waco, led by Keyonte George — along with center Joshua Ojianwuna and guard Dantwan Grimes — the Bears will have plenty of talent to go around.

One thing remains certain: the Baylor Bears will be in the hunt for a Big 12 Championship and a national title.

And as long as Drew keeps doing what he does best - coaching and leading a phenomenal group of young athletes to the next level - the program should remain a consistent contender.
