Baylor Bears Officially Ink Caden Jenkins to Letter of Intent
The Baylor Bears football team inked cornerback Caden Jenkins to an official letter of intent on Wednesday.
Wednesday marked the first day of National Signing Day — when players may officially sign with teams, firing off what will likely be very big moments for both players and colleges alike as the day rolls on.
Jenkins, a 6-1, 170-pound cornerback out of Lewisville, Texas, was No. 73 on the Dallas Morning News’ top 100 recruits list.
In 2021, Jenkins was a District 6-6A first-team all-district selection at Lewisville High School and had 30 tackles and 13 pass deflections that season.
He also clocked an 11.47 second 100 meter dash time in the spring.
The three-star recruit chose Baylor over offers from Arkansas, Bowling Green, Buffalo, Grambling State, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas State, Memphis, Mississippi, Mississippi State, Northern Arizona, Oregon State, Purdue, SMU, Texas Tech, Tulsa, UTSA and Washington State.
“At Home #SicEm,” Jenkins tweeted on Sept. 2.
