In this story:

As the Baylor Bears look for their second straight win against the Texas Tech Red Raiders, they will do so for the rest of the game without tight end Drake Dabney who was injured in the first quarter.

In the first quarter against the Red Raiders, Dabney caught a pass from quarterback Blake Shapen for a gain of 10 yards but was injured on the play after the tackle by a Red Raider defender.

Dabney was carted off as a result of the injury and is out for the rest of the game. There is no status of the injury at this moment but as we know more we will update as more information is provided.

So far this season Dabney has recorded 14 receptions for 161 yards, and while he hasn't played a major role in the Bears, it is a significant loss for the Bears moving forward.

This is an ongoing story and will be updated as more information becomes available.
