ESPN's Paul Finebaum Predicts Baylor Upset of TCU
The Baylor Bears have been a trendy upset pick heading into their Saturday matchup with the No. 4 TCU Horned Frogs at McClane Stadium.
As it stands, the Frogs are just 3-point favorites over Baylor and lead the all-time series over the Bears 57-53-7.
And despite the Bears coming off of an embarrassing 31-3 loss to the Kansas State Wildcats last week, ESPN's Paul Finebaum has not been discouraged, picking the Bears to Upset the Frogs.
“Missed last week, I’m doubling down on TCU,” Finebaum said on ESPN's Get Up. “They’re on a tough road stretch. They won at Austin last week, now they go to Baylor… They’re very dangerous at home and I don’t know how to break this to my friends in Fort Worth, but I’m just not that impressed with TCU. They don’t match up very well on a neutral site against anyone in the top 10.”
The Frogs will be coming off of an extremely tough matchup against the Texas Longhorns, who held Sonny Dykes' offense to one of its worst performances of the season.
In fact. TCU was largely lucky to escape Austin with a win after the Horns were unable to capitalize on multiple red zone opportunities.
Unfortunately for Baylor, the Frogs have won six of the last seven matchups between the two teams, including the last two.
That said, Vegas has this game as a close one for a reason, and the Bears are due for a big win as the season winds down.
Kickoff is set for 11 am at McClane Stadium.
