The Baylor Bears are red hot on the recruiting trail, having accumulated arguably the top 2023 class in the Big 12.

And on Tuesday, that class got even better, when the Bears landed their third commitment in three days, Clear Falls (League City, TX) linebacker, Corey Kelly.

Kelly, who made his announcement via Twitter, is now the 13th commitment of the 2023 class for the Bears, and the third in as many days.

The 6-foot-3, 210-pound outside linebacker picked the Bears over Boston College, Houston, Indiana, Memphis, Minnesota, Mississippi State, Texas Tech, Utah, Wisconsin, and many more FBS offers.

In his junior season with Clear Falls, Kelly was named a unanimous first-team all-district selection for Texas district 24-6A. That year, he finished the year with 97 tackles, 16 tackles for loss, four sacks, 11 pass breakups, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.

In his sophomore campaign, he was a major piece of the Class 6A-Division 1 regional finals berth for Clear Falls. He finished that season with 69 tackles, seven tackles for loss and one sack.

Kelly is now the sixth defensive commitment of the 2023 class for Dave Aranda, joining linebackers Taurean York and Christian Brathwaite, defensive lineman Trent Thomas, and safeties Javeon Wilcox and Cory Huff Jr.

He is the third linebacker commitment in the 2023 class alone.

The Baylor class is headlined by its offensive commitments, including Dripping Spring (TX) quarterback Austin Novosad, who officially visited Ohio State over the weekend.
