With the ACC Operation Basketball wrapping up, the coaches have voted for their projected order in the conference. The Boston College Eagles were voted 13th in the conference out of 15 teams, only voted higher than the Virginia Tech Hokies and Wake Forest Demon Deacon. Per a press release from the conference this is how the media believes the year will play out.

1. Duke Blue Devils
2. North Carolina Tar Heels
3. Louisville Cardinals
4. Virginia Cavaliers
5. Florida State Seminoles
6. NC State Wolfpack
7. Notre Dame Fighting Irish
8. Syracuse Orange
9. Miami Hurricanes
10. Pittsburgh Panthers
11. Clemson Tigers
12. Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets
13. Boston College Eagles
14. Virginia Tech Hokies
15. Wake Forest Demon Deacons

The media also voted for their All-ACC Team:

Jordan Nwora, Louisville
Tre Jones, Duke
Cole Anthony, North Carolina
John Mooney, Notre Dame
Mamadi Diakite, Virginia

The low ranking could be due to Boston College losing star point guard Ky Bowman to the NBA draft this past year, and will need to replace his 19 points a game and solid rebounding. To fill that gap BC is looking to a group of freshman that include CJ Felder, Jay Heath and Julian Rishwain along with USC transfer Derryck Thornton

The Eagles have yet to make the NCAA tournament under head coach Jim Christian, and have only one season over .500 during his tenure with the Eagles.  With the conference schedule ballooning to 20 games this year, the road will be that much more difficult for Boston College.

The Eagles open their season on November 6th against Wake Forest in Chestnut Hill.
