Boston College RB Quin Stott To Enter Transfer Portal

Not a big loss, but worth reporting

Boston College looks like they lost a depth piece today as running back Quinn Stott from Newburyport, Massachusetts announced on Twitter that he has entered the transfer portal for next season.

Stott came to the Eagles as walk on this spring, only holding a scholarship offer from Georgetown. His playing time most likely was going to limited as he would have been buried on the depth chart moving forward by David Bailey, Patrick Garwo, Travis Levy and even Andrew Strader and Peter Stehr. Apparently this move is effective immediately as Stott has been removed from the roster on the BCEagles.com website as of this evening.

If I were to guess on where Stott may land, I would look at his interested school list which are mostly FCS schools. Those would be programs where he could find playing time.

Good luck in the future Quinn.
