Boston College football will resume their football schedule next Saturday kicking off the second half of the season against the NC State Wolfpack in a noon game at home. Vegas odd makers have spoken and most books have installed NC State as a 1 point favorite in this game. This will be the third game in a row that the Eagles are underdogs, with Boston College dropping both of those games.

It's been an up and down season so far for Dave Doeren's Wolfpack who sit at 4-2 and 1-1 in the conference. On Thursday they defeated the Syracuse Orange at home 16-10 in an ugly affair that was heavy on the defense and light on scoring. They also have three wins all in out of conference games against Ball State, Western Carolina and ECU. But the Wolfpack have also had struggled at points this year as well as they have had trouble getting a passing game going, which has led to big losses against FSU, and West Virginia.

This season the Boston College Eagles are 4-2 against the spread and 1-1 in home games where they are home underdogs, defeating Virginia Tech and losing to Wake Forest. The Wolfpack have taken the last two against Steve Addazio's Eagles winning last year 28-23 in a game that looked like a blow out but got closer as the game progressed, and in 2017 BC lost a close one 17-14 in a game where Anthony Brown suffered a season ending leg injury.
