This Day In Boston College History: October 14, 2017

Boston College 45 Louisville 42: Just a week after Steve Addazio's infamous "It will come together and it will be beautiful" speech after a loss to Virginia Tech, BC's offense did come together and it was beautiful. It was the AJ Dillon coming out party was the Eagles star running back got his first start for the Eagles and ran for 274 yards and four touchdowns in an electric game that included devastating stiff arms, unbelievable vision and breakaway speed. The freshman back out dueled Heisman winner Lamar Jackson, but it was kicker Colton Lichtenberg who nailed a 27 yarder with time expiring.

It also gave us one of the greatest BC gifs of all time:

Quote of the Day:

Steve Addazio said of his running back Dillon, "He was a beast out there.
