Dwayne Allick: A Big Physical Offensive Lineman (Video Highlights)
Yesterday the Boston College Eagles received a commitment from Dwayne Allick, a DeMatha Catholic offensive lineman. But what will Boston College be getting from Allick. Obviously films only show the positives, but from what I've seen below he is a big physical offensive lineman who has a good surge and uses his power to neutralize defenders. Clearly he is playing against smaller players, so it will take some time to adjust at the college level, and he probably will need to bulk up a bit (he's listed at 6'3 280) if he is going to play tackle. In the video he lines up at guard and tackle. The video comes from his junior year, and his recruiting has soared since the season has ended, so it'll be interesting to see how he progresses during his senior year.
