It's that time of the year, Boston College has released their fall roster, and their are a few interesting nuggets to digest. First, Andover quarterback EJ Perry IV is no longer with the team. This isn't a big surprise, he had been visiting other schools lately. While it hasn't been officially announced yet I would expect him to end up at Brown where his uncle is the head coach.

Perry was the backup for all of last year and saw some playing time, most notably against Clemson when starting quarterback Anthony Brown when down with an injury early in the game. He finished that game throwing 12-19 for 98 yards, and rushed for 7 yards. Perry leaving makes a lot of sense because it appears that Matt Valecce and Sam Johnson will be climbing over him on the depth chart this year, and Perry will have a chance to start (and probably be very successful at a school like Brown).

Other notes, via Twitter there were a few number changes:

Also:

*Daelen Manard a freshman quarterback from Florida is a new addition to the time

*Transfers: Richard Yeargin #2, Aaron Boumerhi #41, Danny Dalton will wear #15, Hayden Mahoney #62, Dwayne Scott #59, and Zion Johnson #77

* Zay Flowers, recruited as an athlete will be a WR, while Bryce Sebastian will be a DB
