No. 2 Boston College Men’s Hockey Shuts Out AIC in Home Opener

The Eagles earn their second win of the season at Conte Forum on Friday night.

The No. 2 Boston College men’s hockey team (3-0) defeated AIC (0-3-1) 5-0 on Friday night at Conte Forum. 

The contest marked firsts for a few Eagles. Forward James Hagens and defenseman Will Skahan each scored their first collegiate goal while defenseman Aram Minnetian scored his first goal of the season. 

Boston College also saw goals from forwards Gabe Perreault, his second of the season and Will Vote, his third.

Eagles goalie Jacob Fowler put his Hockey East Goaltender of the Week honor on display as he tallied 20 saves and was credited with the shutout, his second of the season. 

Boston College returns to Conte Forum on Saturday night for an exhibition against the US National Team Development Program.
