Boston College football recruiting has been active recently, showing interest in multiple quarterbacks from the Class of '22. One of their most recent offers is Kaden Cobb, a three star dual threat quarterback out of Oak Park, Illinois. BC Bulletin spoke with the young signal caller about his Boston College offer, and where the Eagles stand in his process.

Cobb, at 6'3 180 has already been getting a lot of attention from midwest programs. He currently holds offers from Northwestern, Minnesota, Missouri, Iowa and Northern Illinois. He has interest in a bigger variety of schools that include Georgia, Michigan, Washington State and Syracuse.

The conversations between Cobb and Boston College had been going on for a while before the offer came in. Cobb recollected on the moment, "the offer was great. I had been talking to BC for about 3 weeks prior." It was wide receivers coach Rich Gunnell who gave him the official offer. "He’s been 100% with me and kept it real and wanted to extend me an offer and I was ecstatic about it."

There were two main factors about Boston College that have stuck out to the rising junior. "The academic rigor and the coaches definitely. They’ve made it very clear what it’s like to be a student athlete at BC and take very much pride in it."

Watching his film, and the lefty has some qualities that pop. First off, Cobb has a very quick release, he gets rid of the ball very quickly and his motion is tight and compact. Also while a dual threat, he seems to do a nice job moving the pocket around to buy himself time. This allows wide receivers to get open, and extend plays. Finally, he has a nice touch on his ball, good accuracy in the film. He looks like he could be a solid quarterback at the collegiate level, and after throwing 22 touchdowns as just a sophomore it is easy to see why.

Boston College's offer and interest has definitely kept Cobb's attention. He told BC Bulletin he will be visiting the campus as soon as he can, "they are one of the schools I look forward to visiting as soon as everything opens up."
