BYU in the Polls

On Monday, BYU fell out of the AP poll for the first time since November. BYU was the first team receiving votes.

Kevin McCullar Injury

Star Kansas guard Kevin McCullar will not play against BYU on Tuesday night, Kansas head coach Bill Self announced on Saturday. McCullar, who leads the Jayhawks in scoring at 19 points per game, has been dealing with a lingering knee injury and has not played since February 17th against Oklahoma.

McCullar's absence is significant for the Jayhawks. While Kansas has one of the top five starting lineups in the country, they are very thin. Outside of their starting five, they don't have a bench player that averages more than 4.2 points per game. Without McCullar in the lineup, star Kansas big man has taken on a larger scoring role. He has scored 20 points in each of the last two games for Kansas.

Even though McCullar won't play, BYU will have to play much better than they did against Kansas State to have a chance to beat Kansas in the Allen Fieldhouse. Kansas has not lost at home this season.
