Three Coveted Basketball Recruits are Set to Officially Visit BYU

The BYU basketball staff is in the running for some coveted 2024 basketball recruits

While Kalani Sitake and the BYU football program are preparing for the conference slate, Mark Pope and the BYU basketball program are preparing for the most important official visit weekend of the year. BYU is set to host coveted 2024 basketball recruits Jaxon Johnson, Brooks Bahr, and Brody Kozlowski on the same weekend that BYU hosts Cincinnati in football.

Four-star Jaxon Johnson named the four finalists in his recruitment and BYU made the cut alongside USC, Utah, and Stanford. Johnson, a 6'8 forward, preps at Alta High School in Draper, Utah.

Brody Kozlowski

Four-star forward Brody Kozlowski has racked up over 20 offers during his recruitment. He named the top six in his recruitment and BYU made the cut alongside USC, UCLA, San Diego State, Cal, and Nevada. He also picked up competing offers from the likes of Washington State, Utah State, and UNLV during his recruitment.

The Kozlowski name might sound familiar to BYU fans. Brody’s mom former BYU women's basketball player Kristen Kozlowski. He is also related to former BYU great wide receiver Glen Kozlowski.

Brooks Bahr

Brooks Bahr, a left-handed guard from Texas, named his top eight schools and BYU made the cut alongside Saint Mary's, Oklahoma State, USC, Utah, Wake Forest, Colorado State, and Nebraska.

BYU's 2024 class has a lot of potential. The Cougars already have a verbal commitment from four-star prospect Isaac Davis. If BYU can get one or two of these recruits to commit after their visits, BYU will have a very solid class to pair alongside Collin Chandler once he gets home from his mission.
