Updated 2023 WCC Men's Tournament Bracket
The semifinal games of the West Coast Conference basketball tournament are in the books. The first semifinal game saw SMU take down BYU in the Cougars' final game in the WCC. The second men's game of the evening features San Francisco and Gonzaga. The Zags took care of business in a 84-73 victory. Gonzaga advances to the championship to take on the Gaels. Updated 2023 WCC Men's Basketball Bracket
BYU entered the men's tournament as the fifth seed. The Cougars had a first-round bye before taking down Portland in the second round. With the win over Portland, BYU advanced to the quarterfinals where they took down LMU on Saturday night. BYU's run came to an end on Monday with the loss to Saint Mary's.
With the win over San Francisco, Gonzaga advances to the championship where they will take on Saint Mary's. That game will be televised on ESPN2.
Updated 2023 WCC Women's Basketball Bracket
Below is the updated 2023 women's bracket.
The BYU women's team was the no. 5 seed in the WCC tournament. The Cougars took down San Francisco on Saturday afternoon 66-56 to advance to the semifinals. BYU lost to Gonzaga in the WCC semifinals 79-64. On the other end of the bracket, Portland beat Pacific 75-72 face off for a chance to play against Gonzaga in the championship game.
