Puka Nacua Catches Game-Winning Touchdown in Overtime

Puka Nacua's first NFL touchdown couldn't have come at a better time

Puka Nacua's record-setting start to his NFL career continues to get better each week. On Sunday, Nacua caught his first NFL touchdown and it couldn't have come at a better time. The Rams and the Colts were tied 23-23 in overtime when Matthew Stafford found Puka Nacua for the 22-yard walk-off touchdown.

The touchdown reception capped off a career day for Nacua who finished with 163 receiving yards on 9 receptions. As of this writing, he leads the NFL in receptions and he is second only to Justin Jefferson in receiving yards.

Nacua is shattering NFL records for rookies. He has the most receptions of any NFL wide receiver through their first four career games. Anquan Boldin held that record for 20 years with 30 receptions through his first four games. Nacua already has 39 receptions through four games,

Nacua also holds the record for the most receiving yards by a NFL wide receiver through four games. Nacua has 501 receiving yards this season.

Nacua has been the steal of the draft and one of the top stories in the NFL this season. Nacua wasn't drafted until the fifth round by the Rams. He suffered various injuries during his college career that limited his draft stock.

Nacua has filled in for Cooper Kupp while he nurses a hamstring injury. Kupp is expected to miss the next few weeks, so Nacua will continue to get a lot of targets until he returns.
