On Saturday evening, BYU beat Texas Tech 27-14 thanks to five forced turnovers by the BYU defense. With the win, BYU is 5-2 as it prepares to travel to Texas. Here are the 10 highest-graded individual players from BYU's win over Texas Tech according to Pro Football Focus (minimum of 15 snaps played).
1. Ethan Slade - 82.9
Safety Ethan Slade played his best game in a BYU uniform according to Pro Football Focus. Slade has been thrown into the lineup due to various injuries at the safety position this season. Slade has made the most of his opportunities. Against Texas Tech, he had an interception and he didn't allow a reception the only time he was targeted.
2. Crew Wakley - 81.1
Another safety makes the cut. Crew Wakley had a rough outing against TCU - he was flagged for a bad unsportsmanlike conduct penalty that changed the game. Wakley rebounded in a major way against Texas Tech. Wakley had 11 total tackles and he was very disruptive in the passing game. Wakley tipped the pass at the line of scrimmage that was intercepted by Eddie Heckard. He also dropped another interception that could have gone for a touchdown. Wakley has cemented himself as the starter at safety moving forward.
3. Jakob Robinson - 81.0
Jakob Robinson was targeted throughout the game in the screen game. Robinson responded time and time again, making multiple tackles in space. Robinson finished with 10 tackles and he also had an interception at the end of the first half.
In total, Robinson was targeted 12 times and he allowed 6 receptions - a reception rate of 50%. He was also credited with three stops.
4. Atunaisa Mahe - 76.8
For the first time this season, veteran Atunaisa Mahe makes the top-10 list. Mahe had a team-high two pressures against Texas Tech.
5. Tyler Batty - 76.3
Tyler Batty has been one of the most consistent players on BYU's roster this season. Batty made two of the biggest hits of the game on special teams. One of them forced a fumble and put BYU in scoring position. Batty finished with 9 total tackles, a quarterback hit, and the aforementioned forced fumble.

7. LJ Martin - 71.1
LJ Martin is the first offensive player on this list. On BYU's first drive, LJ Martin found a seam in the defense and ran for 55 yards to put BYU in Texas Tech territory. That play set the tone for the game and allowed BYU to play with a lead. Martin was effective throughout the game, running for 90 yards on only 10 carries. His 9.0 yards-per-carry average was a career high.
8. Aidan Robbins - 69.3
This season hasn't gone as planned for Aidan Robbins - he has been dealing with an injury that has held him out since week two. Robbins returned to the lineup against Texas Tech and he had a season high 49 yards on 16 carries. Robbins had a critical 13-yard run on 3rd & 13 for a first down in the fourth quarter.
9. Kamden Garrett - 68.3
Kamden Garrett returned to the lineup after missing the game against TCU due to injury. Garrett allowed only one catch for six yards against Texas Tech.
10. Darius Lassiter - 67.3
Darius Lassiter made what might be the catch of the year. In the first half, Kedon Slovis found Lassiter near the sideline. Lassiter jumped and caught the ball with just one hand while staying in bounds. A few plays later, Slovis found Lassiter in the end zone for the score. Lassiter has become one of Slovis' favorite targets this season.
