BYU Unveils the Jersey Numbers of the 2023 Newcomers
As part of this week's Big 12 Media Days, the BYU football program released the first official roster for the 2023 football season. Included on the roster were 58 newcomers. Below are the uniform numbers for the newcomers on the 2023 roster.
2023 Signing Class
10 members of BYU's 2023 signing class have enrolled right away and will be on the roster this Fall. A few notable additions to the Fall roster, that didn't participate in the Spring, include Jojo Phillips, LJ Martin, Jackson Bowers, and Siale Esera. Linebacker Miles Hall is one of two players on the roster that has not been assigned a jersey number.

2023 Transfers
In total, 23 transfers have joined the program since the end of last season. A lot of them already participated in Spring camp, but there will be another important group that will join in time for Fall camp. Notable additions include wide receivers Darius Lassiter and Keelan Marion. Lassiter will wear no. 5 while Marion will wear no. 17.
Additionally, linebacker transfers AJ Vongphachanh and Harrison Taggart will wear no. 10 and no. 11 respectively.
Running back Deion Smith will wear no. 20 and defensive back Kamden Garrett will wear no. 7.
