Earlier this week, Kansas announced that this game is sold out.Β There is a lot of excitement surrounding the Kansas football program that is off to a 3-0 start for the second consecutive season. There's also a lot of excitement for BYU fans who will get to see their team play in a Power Five conference for the first time.
BYU fans are notorious for traveling well and Kansas expects a large representation from BYU fans on Saturday.
βWe do know there will be more visiting fans here than we would typically have even with a bordering state Big 12 opponent,β Kansas athletic director Travis Goff said in an interview with Phog.net. βBYU fans both travel, we also know there are a number of fans in the Kansas City area. And so theyβve been buying more than you would see in almost any other visiting situation. And theyβre going to have a little presence. So we need to be a sellout for all the right reasons, but we also need it to be as full of Jayhawk fans as possible, because I think BYU fans will make their presence felt in there.β
Uniform Information
On Monday, the BYU football program unveiled the uniform combination it will wear against Kansas. The Cougars will wear their all white uniforms with navy accents and a white facemask.
