BYU took care of business on Saturday in a 41-16 win over Southern Utah. Today, we highlight some of the best individual performances from BYU's win over SUU.

Kedon Slovis - QB

The BYU offense got off to a slow start against Southern Utah. After failing to score on the first two drives, BYU scored six touchdowns in nine drives. Quarterback Kedon Slovis was the primary reason behind the offensive success.

Slovis threw for 348 passing yards and 4 touchdowns to just 1 interception. Slovis also ran for a touchdown late in the third quarter, finishing with five touchdowns on the afternoon.

Isaac Rex - TE

Veteran tight end Isaac Rex was Slovis' top target on Saturday. Rex caught four passes for 112 yards and a touchdown. Rex had a 65-yard reception - that is tied for the eighth longest reception by a tight end in BYU history.

Marcus McKenzie - DB

Marcus McKenzie is making the most of his role on special teams. McKenzie had two more tackles in punt return against SUU and he recovered a muffed punt that set up BYU's last touchdown.

Jay Hill praised McKenzie during Fall camp and he has exceeded expectations as a true freshman.

Chase Roberts & Darius Lassiter

BYU wide receivers Darius Lassiter and Chase Roberts combined for 11 receptions, 157 yards, and 2 touchdowns.

Harrison Taggart - LB

BYU backup linebacker Harrison Taggart changed the course of the game when he blocked a Southern Utah punt. Taggart brought the energy when he was on the field and his presence was felt even in a limited role. Taggart also had a QB hurry against SUU.

Ben Bywater - LB

Ben Bywater is becoming one of the most consistent performers on BYU's team. Bywater tallied seven total tackles and a QB hurry against Southern Utah.

Max Tooley - LB

BYU linebacker Max Tooley is arguably the most physical presence on BYU's defense. Tooley finished with seven tackles against the Thunderbirds.
