Cal Football: Golden Bears' Bowl History
Cal returns to postseason action for the first time since 2019 on Saturday when the Bears take on Texas Tech in the Independence Bowl at Shreveport, Louisiana.
This is Cal's 25th bowl appearance, dating back to the 1920 Rose Bowl, when coach Andy Smith's "Wonder Team" stunned the college football world with a 28-0 victory over heavily favored Ohio State.
The Bears are 12-11-1 in bowl games.
Saturday's game kicks off at 6:15 p.m. PT and will be aired on ESPN.
