Cal and Utah released their depth charts for Saturday's game in Salt Lake City, but there is a lot of uncertainty in the Bears' depth chart.

Cal opened the week as an 18-point underdog, but by Tuesday Utah was favored by 21.5 points. That change is probably because Utah quarterback Tyler Huntley said he expects to play on Saturday while Cal quarterback Devon Modster is listed as questionable and seems unlikely to play against the Utes. If Modster does not play, freshman Spencer Brasch would make his first collegiate start.

Modster, wide receiver Kekoa Crawford, center Michael Saffell and offensive tackle Valentino Daltoso all have an "or" after their names in the Cal depth chart, which means they are questionable to play in the game because of injuries. (Some of them may have already been ruled out for the game, but Cal does not make those announcements.)

If Crawford cannot play it will be the fourth straight game he will have missed.

There is no "or" after the  name of Traveon Beck as the starting nickel back for Cal, but he was listed as "week-to-week" on Monday's injury list, suggesting he is questionable for the game.

Utah also has some uncertainty in its depth chart. Huntley was injured in the Utes' victory over Arizona State on Saturday, and head coach Kyle Whittingham did not address his status for the game against Cal. However, Huntley said Monday night that he expects to play. Of course, the final decision will be made by Whittingham.
