Division III WR Jaden Richardson Commits to Cal
Tufts transfer wide receiver Jaden Richardson announced on social media on Wednesday that he has committed to Cal.
Richardson had 46 receptions for 830 yards in nine games for Tufts, but his most impressive statistic was his 13 touchdown catches in 2023. In 2022, he had 41 catches for 666 yards and seven touchdowns.
He was listed as a senior this season at Tufts, but he did not play in 2020 when the season was canceled and played in just four games in 2021. He says on his twitter account (below) that he is a mid-year grad transfer who has two years of eligibility remaining.
The 6-foot-2, 210-pound Richardson is from San Mateo, Calif., and attended The Menlo School, where he was also a member of the track team.
Richardson reportedly chose Cal over Washington, Utah, Iowa State and others.
