Jeremiah Davenport struggled mightily Before fouling out and the Cincinnati Bearcats couldn’t complete the road win in Philadelphia, falling to the Temple Owls 61-58. The Bearcats made exactly one field goal in the final 10 minutes of the game.

Early on, Cincinnati established a lead by creating good shot opportunities off pick-and-roll plays. They abandoned it in the second half and saw a drought of seven-straight minutes without a bucket. The 14-point lead they held, just under the 18:00 mark in the second half, completely evaporated.

Cincinnati had a shot to tie Temple on a buzzer-beating three, but Hayden Koval could not connect. The Bearcats next travel to East Carolina to take on the Pirates Sunday at noon.
