Cincinnati Opens as Significant Home Betting Favorites Over West Virginia
CINCINNATI — The Bearcats are significant favorites over the West Virginia Mountaineers to close the 2023-24 regular season. Cincinnati lost the first meeting 69-65 but is favored by 11.5 points on Friday. The total is set at 145.5 points.
Cincinnati is just 14-15-1 against the spread this season and even worse as a favorite (7-13 ATS). West Virginia is even worse ATS at 12-17-1 on the season and 8-13-1 as an underdog.
The Bearcats have to win the Big 12 Tournament to make the NCAA Tournament and beating WVU could make that a little easier. A UC win and a Kansas State road loss to Iowa State on Saturday means Cincinnati gets a first-round bye in the conference tournament.
