CINCINNATI — The Bearcats are inside the AP Poll's top-15 teams for the first time in the Wes Miller era. Cincinnati moved from No. 16 to No. 14 in the latest poll after winning its lone game 77-59 last week over Alabama State.

UC boasts the third-best scoring defense in the country (56 points per game allowed) and the top point differential of any Division 1 team (plus 29.3 PPG). They've done just about as well as you can ask a team to play against one of the weakest non-conference schedules in the country so far.

The NCAA also released its first NET rankings for the 2025 NCAA Tournament and Cincinnati is at No. 11 on that front. Only Kansas (No. 9) is above them among Big 12 teams.

There are still plenty of things they can improve on with their toughest road test yet on Tuesday against Villanova.
