CINCINNATI — The Bearcats won a Crosstown Shootout for the first time since 2018 and it prompted a celebratory round of drinks from athletic director John Cunningham. Fans at Mio's in Clifton were treated to a free round of drinks after Cincinnati's 68-65 victory.
It also marked his first win in the game at UC after taking over as AD in Dec. 2019. A big night of exhaling and elation all over campus. The first big 2024-25 test is passed, and another awaits in a neutral site against Dayton on Friday night.
