NCAA Tournament Tracker: Cincinnati Back on The Bubble After Three-Game Losing Streak

UC has lost a lot of the national good will it built up in November and December.

CINCINNATI — Cincinnati's 0-3 start in Big 12 play has brought the NCAA Tournament freight train to a few delays. UC is entering bubble territory on the latest update across Bracket Matrix.

The Bearcats are the final nine seed on the site as of this writing, with an average seeding of 9.21. Of the 53 certified brackets in the matrix, Cincinnati is a part of 39 fields (73.5% of brackets). They are ranked 36th in the NET as of this writing.

UC has to turn this rough start around over the next 4-5 games, or they won't have enough chances left to make up the lost ground. Still, there is no reason to panic three chances into a 20-game conference run. As of this writing, Cincinnati plays just two Quad Three games the rest of the season (V. Utah, V. Kansas State). All others are Quad One or Two opportunities.
