CINCINNATI — Portal season is almost officially here, starting March 24 in college basketball, but UC has already reached out to a few players who have made their transfer intentions known.

We start the first Pinging the Portal this cycle with interest in DII point guard Wes Enis out of Lincoln Memorial. The 6-2, 200-pound point guard averaged 20.1 points, 3.1 assists, and 4.4 rebounds on 41.1% shooting from deep this past season (219 three-point attempts).

Many teams have reached out to Enis, including Oklahoma State, Florida, Washington, Virginia Tech, Creighton, St. Louis, Xavier, and Davidson. He has two years of eligibility left.

Next, Cincinnati reached out to junior North Dakota guard Jacari White.

The 6-3, 180-pound talent averaged 17.1 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 2.3 assists on 45.2% shooting this past season. He holds one season of eligibility due to the extra JuCo year.

We wrap the first 2025 basketball portal ping with UC contacting Milwaukee forward Jamichael Stillwell. The 6-8, 225-pound forward posted 13.0 points, 10.7 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game this past season on 46.8% shooting.

He could have up to two years of eligibility rating after mauling the boards in the Horizon League.
