CINCINNATI — Wes Miller isn't done yet.

Jon Rothstein reports Cincinnati is in the mix to land Florida State transfer forward Jamir Watkins.

The 6-7, 210-pound talent posted 15.6 points, six rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game last season across 33 outings (45.7% FG mark, 34.4% from deep on 2.9 attempts per game).

Watkins is a strong swing forward who can guard multiple positions and stays efficient on offense with cutting rim attacks and a decent shot from outside. He would give this Cincinnati roster another versatile option and he may not necessarily require another player to exit despite UC being out of scholarships.

Elite players can walk on and have their school expenses and play compensated through NIL without taking a normal scholarship.
