CINCINNATI — UC head coach Wes Miller met with the media ahead of Cincinnati's road game against Georgia Tech. He had the latest update ready on Dan Skillings Jr., who is seemingly ahead of schedule on his path back from a minor knee procedure.

"I think he's ahead of schedule," Miller said. "I meet with our medical staff on campus every day about out whole team and he's doing great, he's ahead of schedule, and hopefully we'll start progressing him on the floor next week. I don't think that necessarily means he'll play in games but I think he's ahead of schedule based on what we thought a week and a half, two weeks ago."

Miller also noted guard CJ Fredrick re-injured the ankle he tweaked against Nicholls State, but will try to practice this week and play on Saturday.
