Weekly NET: Cincinnati's Tournament Chances Jump Following Win Over UCF

Cincinnati is a top-25 team in the NET rankings.
In this story:

CINCINNATI — The Bearcats got a much-needed win over the UCF Knights on Saturday to stay on track for an NCAA Tournament berth. They currently sit at No. 32 in the NET Rankings with a 14-6 overall record.

The win bumped their final record projection up one win to 20-11 on TeamRankings. If they finish with 20 wins they should be a lock to make the tournament as an at-large team. That's as long as they don't lose two of the three matchups against West Virginia and Oklahoma State.

TeamRankings currently gives Cincinnati a 56% chance to make the dance as a 10-seed ahead of a bout against WVU on Wednesday. They are one of nine projected Big 12 teams to make the tournament.

Finish 6-5 and there shouldn't be too many more questions to answer from the selection committee.
