Cincinnati Lands UAB Wide Receiver Jamoi Mayes From Transfer Portal

The Bearcats have made some waves in the portal this week

CINCINNATI — The Bearcats likely rounded out their 2024 scholarship tally on Friday with Chattanooga and UAB transfer wide receiver Jamoi Mayes.

The 5-11 playmaker posted 62 catches, for 1,037 yards and four TDs last season as one of the better wide receivers in the FCS.

It amounted to an 80.3 PFF grade across 847 snaps as he rounds out the Bearcats wide receiver depth chart. He committed to UAB after an initial portal entry this past season but decided to re-enter and take his talents to Cincinnati.
