CINCINNATI — The Bearcats' defense posted some stellar PFF grades following Saturday's 19-13 win over UCF, headlined by safety Antwan Peek Jr. (86.9 overall grade), who earned a spot on the National Team of the Week. The redshirt sophomore was nasty in run defense and helped keep UCF under 5 yards per carry.

The rest of Cincinnati's stand-out performers looked like Jared Bartlett (84.6 overall), Jake Golday (83.9), Harris Adams (73.9), and Dontay Corleone (71.8). All transfer standouts from this latest class, other than Corleone.

Jordan Young (48.1) posted his worst game of the season with 2 missed tackles to post the defense's lowest grade. Jonathan Thompson (54.1) missed four tackles on the day.

Offensively, Tony Johnson (77.1 overall) matched his importance on the field with by far the best grade from that unit after his best performance at UC. Joe Royer (70.9), Phillip Wilder (68), Barry Jackson Jr. (67.4), and Luke Kandra (66.2) rounded out the rest of the top five.

At the bottom, Gavin Gerhardt (39.7) struggled with a penalty on the day, Gavin Grover (49.5) was the only other offensive player to post a sub-50 grade.
