CINCINNATI — UC officially kicked off fall camp earlier this week with the first three practices held at Nippert Stadium before the team makes it yearly trek to Camp Higher ground on Sunday. Veteran team leader Corey Kiner dove into his advice for the uninitiated.

"The advice I gave to the team was, you get out what you put in," Kiner said to the media on Thursday. "If you put in your all, you will probably have a really good season. But if you go into Higher Ground and give only 50% you probably won't get the results you want. It is Camp Higher Ground you shouldn't have any distractions other than football and being with your brothers."

The talented senior is coming off a season where he eclipsed 1,000 yards for the first time in his career after leading the Bearcats in rushing.

Kiner finished the season with 1,047 yards and five touchdowns where he averaged nearly 5.5 yards per carry to help propel Cincinnati to a top five rushing offensive in all of college football (217.5 yards per game).
