Ivan Pace Jr., Mason Fletcher Win AAC POTY Awards; 13 Bearcats Earn Conference Honors
CINCINNATI — The 2022 Bearcats football team earned plenty of AAC honors for their strong play this season.
The league named Ivan Pace Jr. Defensive Player of the Year and Mason Fletcher Special Teams Player of the Year, while 11 other players earned recognition.
Pace is leading the AAC with 120 tackles and 19.5 tackles for loss, plus, he's second in the conference with nine sacks.
Fletcher ended his season ranked fourth nationally in average punt distance and his 84-yard boot against SMU set a new program and conference record for single-punt distance.
