Look: 10 Bearcats Named to East-West Shrine Bowl 1000

Cincinnati projects to have one and possibly multiple players drafted this coming spring.

CINCINNATI — The 2025 East-West Shrine Bowl isn't until this coming January, but the committee has its eyes on a litany of Bearcats as Cincinnati gets ready to start fall camp.

10 Bearcats made the Shrine Bowl 1000, marking players likely to get drafted to the NFL, signed after the draft, or invited to a rookie minicamp.

  • DT Dontay Corleone
  • G Luke Kandra
  • LT John Williams
  • DE Darian Varner
  • RB Corey Kiner
  • DB Jordan Young
  • DE Eric Phillips
  • DB Derrick Canteen
  • LB Jared Bartlett
  • RT Deandre Buford

Corleone is a lock to get drafted next season if he keeps up his stellar play from the past two seasons, while Kandra should also hear his name called in the mid to late rounds.
