CINCINNATI — Cincinnati took another step forward in The Athletic's 1-134 FBS ranking this week from Chris Vannini. The Bearcats' 34-0 win over Houston moved them from No. 78 to No. 73 on the list as they continue climbing.

Cincinnati is largely one bad quarter (fourth against Pitt) from being 4-0 entering the road matchup against Texas Tech. The team has played strong ball in response to that fourth-quarter flub.

They are now above three other Big 12 teams: Kansas, Baylor, and Houston.
